Gen Z is crazy about their cats. Their desire to communicate with their cats has sparked a trend on social media, especially TikTok.

Insight
Cat language is a language that people want to learn. Interestingly, some cat words share similarities with words from foreign languages.

Idea
Duolingo helps cat lovers talk to their cats by teaching them cat language. It will be a gateway to learning different foreign languages while mastering cat languages.


Starting point

The idea started when I watched a bunch of videos from a part-time cat whisperer. The desire of cat lovers to communicate with their cats has sparked a trend on social media, especially TikTok.
  

Insight

Some cat words have attributes of some foreign languages. For example, the cat phrase ‘Ma-ah’ shares a similar pronunciation with the Chinese language, and ‘Tsst’ has the same pronunciation as the Russian alphabet Ц [ts].
