Background
Every year, 80 million tons of recyclable waste end up in landfills. Especially after the pandemic, there has been a huge increase in plastic waste.

Insight
Packaging that's covered in food waste, like grease or oil, is difficult to recycle. Cleaning plastic containers before recycling can increase recycling rates effectively.

Idea
Uber Eats includes a QR code on the bottom of disposable containers to motivate people to clean them after meals by offering discounts as incentives.
